Double award win at Bodyshop Awards 2021

The Vella Group won two awards at the rescheduled Bodyshop Awards 2021, held in Wales this April.
The Vella Group were named double winners at last week's Bodyshop Awards 2021. This event has been much anticipated due to its cancellation in December 2021 due to the Omicron outbreak.
We were nominated in eight categories, and successfully came home with two awards against some great competition, and a 30 Under 30 celebration.
MSO Bodyshop of the Year
Our first win of the night came for Multi Site Operator Bodyshop of the Year. The Group was recognised for our ability to demonstrate uniformity across all our repair centres including in our levels of customer service, and our quality of repairs. Competing against Drive Vauxhall and Pennings Group, we were incredibly pleased to win this award with Head of Commercial, Tom Hadfield, collecting it on the night.
Catherine Short - Apprentice MET of the Year
Secondly, Catherine Short, MET Technician at Workington, took home the win for the Apprentice MET Technician of the Year award. Catherine competed in a strong category through a number of tasks, and this reward comes as recognition for her hard work over the last three years.
30 Under 30: Stefan Whyte
Stefan Whyte was also finally able to celebrate his 2021 30 Under 30 category win with a full celebration of the winners. Stefan originally joined The Vella Group as an apprentice at Skelmersdale and has since rose through the ranks to become Bodyshop Manager at our Deeside site.
