Central Vehicle Damage Assessor

As a member of our Central VDA Team, you will still be expected to carry out all standard VDA duties from the comfort of your own home and without the hassle of the daily commute and associated time lost/costs incurred.

Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing repair assessments prior to submitting for final authority. 
  • You will be checking for accuracy of repair methodology, change-out, assessment justification and presentation. 
  • Assessment creating using images and information provided by a customer or by one of our branches. 
  • Have and maintain an excellent working knowledge of E-scribe and Audatex. 
  • Develop and/or maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of all insurer/customer contracts. 
  • Hold and display strong communication skills. 
  • Speaking to customers and insures professionally, effectively and efficiently, also entering accurate records of actions taken and or communications made within the Company management system.
  • Provide support, guidance, and feedback to branch VDA's for continued development and improvement.  
  • Be pro-active in identifying areas of improvement for the Company and/or its processes.

 

About You:

  • Must have current or very recent Bodyshop VDA/Engineer experience. 
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of Audatex (with current/recent accreditation).
  • Have a good working knowledge of GT Motive and/or Inter-Est would also be an advantage. 
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of E-Scribe. 
  • Current ATA accreditation is an advantage. 
  • Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team. 
  • Have excellent organisational, time management and communication skills. 
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
