Compliance Administrator

Hyrbid/Northern Sites


 

As a Regional Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting sites within your region adhere to current legislation in H&S, Fire Risk and BS10125, as well as internal company processes.  This role will play a key part in ensuring the company maintains integrity and mitigates any potential risks. The role reports directly to the Compliance Manager but will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Regional Manager and the regional team, as well as the HR central team.

 

Please note this is a Hybrid role with regular amounts of business travel to our Northern sites as necessary.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring sites are compliant with H&S and Fire Risk, including relevant certification and documentation such as PPE Registers for all relevant employees
  • Support with actioning corrective actions plans from internal and external audits. 
  • Ensuring all relevant employees have annual health surveillance testing and working with HR actioning any referrals. Ensuring sites are carrying out 6 monthly fire evacuation testing.
  • Ensuring sites are compliant with BS10125 standards. 
  •  Making sure all tooling and equipment is maintained and calibrated, ensuring correct certification is stored correctly.
  • Working with HR ensuring we always meet relevant training ratios. 
  •  Carrying out random spot audits as and when the compliance manager requires,
  •  Ensuring sites are compliant with related VM approvals.
  •      Maintaining audit compliance at sites and supporting on the first stages of any new VM approvals the region may get.
  • Maintaining any VM portals ensuring bodyshop compliance and training is kept up to date. 
  • Ensuring truck/vehicle and driver compliance is maintained.
  •  Collating defect reporting every morning and escalating defects to the compliance manager.
  • Review weekly driver cards have been uploaded. 
  • Support the compliance manager in implementing and maintaining a PMI, MOT, tax and brake service schedule for the trucks/fleet vehicles and ensure it is adhered to.
  •  Ensuring all bodyshop compliance portals are maintained
  •  Preparing and submitting monthly compliance reports to the compliance manager.

A degree of flexibility will be required in hours attended subject to work volumes also additional or alternative duties may be requested from time to time.
